It's one of the rare times when I read a blog post from the first word to the last. Your narrative was very engaging. Maybe it's also because I have not yet stepped into the bustling streets of Kolkata in India. I can't help but smile when I read about your Paan experience. Makes me imagine how you would react to eating Balut (an exotic food in the Philippines which I have tried).

What a very nice post. The photos and the narratives you shared make me feel like I've been to the place. The traffic at Kolkata is much similar to Bangkok and the extreme gap between rich and poor is obvious basing from the pictures you shared here. You probably became an an expert at bargaining after your shopping sojourn. Thanks for sharing.

The church near the new market is quite similar to Quiapo church here in the Philippines. Anyway, you surely had a great trip. I'm planning to take a vacation this summer with my family and I was about to choose Thailand. But looking at your pics makes me want to change planes. Thanks for sharing and I also do look forward to more of your travel posts.. :)
