Agreed with Rosie. Out of all major supermarkets in Metro Vancouver, the pastries/cakes and even sometime in-store made bread from Save-on are the best! Well, probably with the exception of Urban Fare; however, given the cost of some items in their bakery, I will stick with Save-On’s.

Hi Peggy, you know what’s funny? My friend C also loves their Tuxedo cake. It’s her favourite. I’m glad to know there are people like us who can be so crazy about cakes from the grocery stores, hee hee.

Hi Ben, I wish I know what you are talking about! I was using my 5 years old Sony point and shot camera. Let’s talk about it when we meet.

Edit: Hey Ben, these were not taken with the D70. But these were taken with the D70 (the only ones on the site taken with that camera).

Ah I love their black forest cakes. Another great cake from save on foods is their tuxedo chocolate mousse bar cake (i think that’s it’s name).
